Kingsauce Bio:
Kingsauce is an Elephant 6 related, lo-fi, indie novelty-pop project formed in 1999 by Vince Mole and his Calcium Orchestra's bassist, Richie Chodes. Quirky and shmaltzy, the songs combine 60's pop, 70's am radio, the Borscht Belt, and a touch of vaudeville with tounge in cheek lyrics ala Allan Sherman. Picture the Raspberries meet Randy Newman and you'll get the idea! Their first EP "Ode to Lobo" was released in December 1999 on "Happy Happy birthday to me" records. In August 2002, they released their first full length cd "Please don't change the channel" on HHBTM records. In August 2007, their 2nd full length cd "Cancelled" was release on Little pocket records. Then, in December 2008, they released a 4 song EP "Chanukah Blues" also on Little pocket records. Finally, in April 2011, they released their 3rd EP titled "I Love you Alice B Nelson" containing 4 previously recorded tracks. As of 2023, all of their recordings are digital and are available on Itunes, Spotify, and Apple music.
